💽 Find out your laptop’s storage (Windows & Mac)
Follow these simple steps to easily find out how much storage your laptop has.
🪟 On Windows:
1. Open File Explorer (folder icon on your taskbar).
2. Click on “This PC” from the left-hand menu.
3. Under Devices and drives, you’ll see your main drive (usually “Local Disk (C:)”).
Below it, you’ll see something like:
237 GB free of 476 GB — this means your laptop has a total of 512GB storage (approximately).
🍎 On Mac:
1. Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of your screen.
2. Select “About This Mac”.
3. Click on the “Storage” tab.
You’ll see a breakdown showing total storage, for example:
Macintosh HD – 500 GB — this means your laptop has 500GB of storage.
